PRODUCT DATA AS AN ONGOING SERVICE
Complete.
And kept complete.
Skuply measures whether your catalogue exists to a machine: what a product feed rejects, what a crawler cannot read, and which fields are empty. Then it fills what can be derived from your own text, and keeps that up to date with every new SKU. Connected through the API, fixed amount per month.
No login needed for the measurement. We read what sits publicly on your product pages.

ONE CATALOGUE, MEASURED
What gets added, and where it comes from.
We derive from what is already in your shop: the title, the description and the attributes that are there. No supplier feed, no external database. On a real catalogue of 11,785 products that took the fill rate from 41 to 53 percent. Every proposal carries a source and a number that says how direct that source is.
ALT TEXT · 0.97
From the product title plus the colour we found. This is the field that almost always lands: measured from 0 to 99 percent, with 196 of 200 proposals approved.
COLOUR · 0.91
From your own title and description. Measured from 21 to 26 percent. If the colour appears nowhere in your own text, we cannot derive it.
DIMENSIONS · 0.88
From the measurements in the title. Measured from 15 to 27 percent. Material sits lower, because that is what shops write down least.
GTIN · no proposal
A gtin is never generated, and we have no manufacturer database to look it up in. If it is not there, the field stays empty.
Below 0.85 nothing goes live; it goes to the review list with its source attached. We never touch price, stock or delivery time, and we do not overwrite what you filled in yourself.
THE SCORE
One number, and four places where it makes a difference straight away.
CHANNEL
WHAT IT GIVES YOU
Your own search
Anyone filtering on leather now actually sees the product.
Google Shopping
Attributes are matching input. Missing required fields get suppressed.
Marketplaces
Amazon and eBay rank partly on data completeness.
AI assistants
An assistant reasons about properties. Without attributes there is nothing to derive, so the product is never mentioned. These days that is called GEO and it is still open ground.
To be straight about it: organic search traffic is a portfolio bet, not a promise per product. Of 10,000 enriched products, 10,000 do not climb.
So at the start we record a holdout: 2,000 products stay untouched, so the difference can be measured.

THE PROBLEM, IN NUMBERS
An empty attribute is not cosmetic. The product does not exist in the place where the buyer is looking.
62%
of the attributes are empty. Median across 4,104 Dutch webshops we measured
21%
of those shops carry no product markup on any product page. To a feed and to an assistant, those products do not exist
0%
passes a feed check at a shop that has 13 percent of its fields filled. A feed judges per product, not per field
4,104
webshops measured without a login and without permission, on their own public pages
GLOVE, 3 OF 15 FIELDS
WORK TROUSERS, 4 OF 15 FIELDS
WORK JACKET, 2 OF 15 FIELDS
This is what a product with empty fields looks like to a filter, a marketplace or an assistant. Recognisable enough to exist, too empty to be chosen. All the numbers above come from our own measurements, not from a market report.
WHAT WE FILL
Three zones, and one line that is fixed.
What we fill
Derived from your own titles, descriptions and existing attributes, with source and confidence attached.
colour, material and dimensions from your own text
alt text from the product title and the colour
empty fields only, never overwriting anything
in a namespace of our own, so a rollback always holds
What we measure but do not fill
We measure sixteen fields. If we cannot derive a value from your own text, we show you the gap and leave it alone.
size, weight, brand and category: measured, not filled
we do not write product copy
we do not put markup on your pages
Never invented
Below the 0.85 threshold nothing goes live; it goes to the review list with its source attached.
a gtin is never generated
if a value appears nowhere in your shop, the field stays empty
price, stock and delivery time stay untouched
The copy is a consequence of the data, not the other way round. So a description never states a property that cannot be checked in a field.
PRICE
One package, no variants. The meter is the number of SKUs.
One-off first pass: € 0.10 per SKU. All amounts are exclusive of VAT. At 12,400 products that is € 1,240 once and € 499 per month.
THE METER
The tier counts the number of SKUs in your sitemap, not the number of variants. Grow past a boundary and the rate follows on the first of the next month.
You do not pick a tier. You connect your shop, we count the SKUs in your sitemap, and the rate follows from that. Want to see what there is to gain first? Measure without connecting.
START BY MEASURING
Put your address in. Within a minute you see how many fields are empty, per category.
No name, no email, no login. We read your product pages the way any visitor can, and send the outcome as a link you can share.
